(G)I-DLE won their third grand prize of the year.
On the 21st, they became the grand prize winners at the 34th Seoul Music Awards held at Inspire Arena in Incheon.
After receiving the grand prize, they noted, "It is an honor to receive an award that our respected seniors have won since we were young. Our fandom, Neverland, has always supported us anywhere and anytime, and thanks to that strength, we have come this far. We will work hard to become an artist that Neverland can be proud of."
They electrified the stage with their title track "Good Thing" from their mini album No. 8 and their song "I Hate Being Hurt," which was recognized as last year's best comeback track. Additionally, Minnie presented a special stage that revived the emotions of the 1990s hit song "Purple Fragrance," and Miyeon served as the MC for the Seoul Music Awards, leading the ceremony with her stable hosting.
While celebrating the joy of winning the grand prize at the 34th Seoul Music Awards, they set a record by receiving their third grand prize this year, following the 32nd Hanteo Music Awards 2024 and ASEA 2025. After winning the grand prize at last year's Korea Grand Music Awards 2024 and the 2024 Melon Music Awards, they are adding to their collection of grand prize trophies this year, thanks to their fans' support.
Having successfully completed their promotions for mini album No. 8, they will participate in "KCON LA 2025" in Los Angeles in August, where they will meet their fans.
