'Oh My Ghost Clients' Jeong Kyung-ho's tension rises, and a major industrial accident occurs as the anger of worker ghosts escalates.
In the episode that aired on the afternoon of the 21st, the MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Oh My Ghost Clients' (written by Kim Bo-tong and Yoo Seung-hui, directed by Lim Soon-rye and Lee Han-jun) shows No Mu-jin (played by Jeong Kyung-ho), Na Hee-joo (played by Seol In-ah), and Ko Gyeon-woo (played by Cha Hak-yeon) receiving the most ghost clients since the opening of the 'No Mu-jin Law Office.' A major fire accident occurs, with a whirlwind of stories and a confrontation with a bigger villain foretold, strongly immersing the viewers.
In the 8th episode, Mu-jin encountered the ghosts of workers who suffered from a fire accident at a logistics warehouse. The fire at Buguk Warehouse, which claimed eight lives, was an accident that could have been prevented. Due to the malfunctioning fire alarm and the company policy prohibiting bringing in mobile phones, immediate reporting could not be made, and the situation was exacerbated by old fire extinguishers and doors that would not open. The manager, CEO Choi (played by Lim Cheol-hyeong), fled in fear of responsibility. The reality of such recurring accidents evoked bitterness. Furthermore, despite the introduction of the Serious Accident Punishment Act, the number of actual convictions remains exceedingly low.
The ghosts, perhaps due to their deep resentment, could not leave Mu-jin's side and returned. Shocked, Mu-jin was confounded by the ghosts' plaintive wails. The ghosts anxiously said, "Just because you are a lawyer doesn't mean you have sharp solutions," and "What changes if someone has to die for a punishment to happen?" They hovered around, disturbing Mu-jin's sleep.
'The Mujins' discovered while investigating that there was a bigger force behind the incident. The actual owner of Buguk Warehouse was Myeong-eum Construction, and its CEO, Kim Myeong-an (played by Choi Moo-seong), was a person who wouldn't hesitate to blame CEO Choi for the accident. 'The Mujins' felt risks on a different level than in previous cases. Furthermore, Myeong-eum Construction swiftly attempted to settle with the bereaved families. There was a crisis that the case itself might fizzle out. If the actual responsible party at Myeong-eum Construction were not punished, it was clear that just changing the company name and appointing a figurehead would lead to the same accidents recurring.
At this time, the key to the case, the fleeing CEO Choi, contacted 'The Mujins' after watching 'Gyeon-jjang TV.' Despite Hee-joo and Gyeon-woo's concerns, Mu-jin went to meet CEO Choi alone. The ghosts, misinterpreting the situation, exclaimed, "Are you saying you will side with the boss who killed us?" and attempted possession to seek revenge through Mu-jin's body. With CEO Choi's appearance, the ghosts' resentment and anger multiplied. The ghosts surged towards CEO Choi, causing the ground to crack and shake due to their anger gauge. Mu-jin demanded a heartfelt apology to the deceased workers from CEO Choi, momentarily easing their anger.
Meanwhile, thugs appeared at the meeting place of Mu-jin and CEO Choi, raising the tension. CEO Choi revealed a location that contained evidence proving Myeong-eum Construction's ownership of Buguk Warehouse and then fled. Mu-jin, who had also been running away, found himself being chased by the thugs. The 8th episode concluded with Mu-jin's 'panic ending' as he shouted, "Why are you following me!" attracting attention to whether Mu-jin would be safe. The subsequent ending credits scene depicted a Bodhisattva (played by Tang Jun-sang) training the eight worker ghosts, saying, "The power of rage will be important in the future," intensifying curiosity about his plans.
With only two episodes remaining until the finale, 'The Mujins' are set to struggle to resolve an even larger-scale industrial accident. To ensure that such accidents do not repeat and to save more people, 'The Mujins' plan to move more fiercely than ever. Additionally, actor Moon So-ri is set to make a special appearance as a prominent member of the National Assembly, Moon Jeong-eun, promising to add a unique touch to the final episode, heightening anticipation for the acting synergy with 'The Mujins' Jeong Kyung-ho, Seol In-ah, and Cha Hak-yeon. Furthermore, the reason behind why the Bodhisattva chose Mu-jin and the real reason for the 'vengeful spirit contract' will be revealed, drawing attention.
