'The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile' created a special time with artists who are continuing their musical journey with their own individuality and colors.
On the 20th broadcast of KBS 2TV 'The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile', Sam Kim, Ozone, Car the Garden, Jeong Mi-jo, and UINONE grants showcased their 'My Way' on stage.
The first guest Sam Kim opened the show by performing 'Make Up.' Park Bo-gum expressed his desire to invite Sam Kim since he began hosting the program and the two continued their conversation with a comfortable chemistry like friends. Sam Kim, who stood on stage after four years, humorously replied, 'I love and cherish music so much that I seemed to have gone through a burnout wanting to do better. Now, my relationships have improved,' hinting at active activities ahead.
Sam Kim, who collaborated with Park Bo-gum on the fan song 'ALL MY LOVE', presented an English duet stage with him, touching the audience's emotions. Sam Kim showcased live performances of 'You and I' and 'That Summer Night' with his sweet voice, even surprising everyone with an unexpected birthday party for Park Bo-gum. Notably, Sam Kim disclosed an anecdote about how Park Bo-gum always checked up on him during anniversaries, even when not active, and expressed their deep friendship by singing 'Dear. My Bogum.'
The next-generation visual bromance duo Ozone and Car the Garden made their entrance on stage singing 'BIG BIRD.' Park Bo-gum mentioned their commonalities, such as being the same age and liking boxing, while Ozone greeted him with 'Nice to meet you, my friend,' extending a handshake. Holding hands with Park Bo-gum, he humorously requested, 'Please don't edit this out,' eliciting laughter from the audience. Car the Garden, who made his acting debut through the film 'Virus,' lightheartedly joked, 'I didn't appear as a virus.'
Ozone and Car the Garden, who expressed their goal to follow in the footsteps of Brown Eyed Soul, delivered a live performance of 'With Coffee...'. Car the Garden, directing a stage featuring Park Bo-gum as the protagonist like a scene from an advertisement, requested, 'We will sing the song. But please do not capture it in one scene.' However, a playful Park Bo-gum approached Ozone and Car the Garden, leading to a chase scene that sparked enthusiastic reactions from the audience.
Jeong Mi-jo, who has devoted 54 years to singing, touched the audience deeply and provided comfort with her performance of the hit song 'Hearing,' known from the Netflix series 'When Life Gives You Tangerines.' Park Bo-gum remarked, 'The way you treasure each note and sing beautifully was captivating,' and Jeong Mi-jo disclosed regarding 'Hearing,' 'The writer of the drama came to the studio and asked me to sing it a half-tone lower and quietly.' Park Bo-gum expressed surprise, saying, 'This is the first I'm hearing this.'
After graduating from a fine arts university, Jeong Mi-jo began her music career and shared her life story, having studied art in Paris for 13 years. She then showcased the live performance of 'la vie est,' the OST of the drama 'Our Home,' and added a delightful excitement by singing 'Yangyang' to Park Bo-gum's piano accompaniment. Filling the stage with her solid experience and knowledge, Jeong Mi-jo conveyed, 'If painting has a limited space, music can breathe, feel, and comfort with you in an unlimited space,' providing a unique resonance.
The seventh guest, the rookie band UINONE, presented the stage of 'Apocalypse.' UINONE shared, 'We named the group because we felt like primates living in society,' and revealed their unique history of recruiting members through a used instrument transaction site. Additionally, UINONE brought a printout of the face of their member Jo Jae-min, who couldn't join due to civic duty, and Park Bo-gum delivered a supportive message holding the photo, creating a heartwarming atmosphere.
UINONE, receiving many love calls in the performance industry, delivered a heartfelt performance of 'Love and Summer' alongside Park Bo-gum's piano, proving their infinite potential. Leaving a deep impression through 'The Night of Stars,' UINONE presented a lively energy with the stage of 'Sand Wave,' and Park Bo-gum encouraged, 'I will support you until the day you deliver comfort to many and are recognized for your music. I hope you continue to share musical stories steadily until you reach your ideal place.'
'The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile,' which intricately captures the musical journeys of unique artists and provides viewers with comfort and fun, airs every Friday night at 11:20 p.m. on KBS 2TV.
