Singer and actress Yoon Hyun-sook had her first ramen in four years due to her battle with diabetes.
On the 18th, a video titled "Sisters who flew to Japan because they wanted ramen (feat. Miyazaki)" was uploaded on the 'Nyeonyeonyeo' channel.
That day, Yoon Hyun-sook traveled to Miyazaki, Japan, with Bae Jong-ok and Byun Jung-soo. Arriving first at the travel destination, Yoon Hyun-sook and Bae Jong-ok moved to a restaurant for a meal.
Meanwhile, Yoon Hyun-sook's blood sugar monitor alarm went off, and she explained, "I need food. My blood sugar is dropping. I'm hungry." Bae Jong-ok asked, "Should I give you chocolate?" and Yoon Hyun-sook replied, "No. I want to eat something delicious at the restaurant."
She then noted, "I feel normal these days. My blood sugar has stabilized a bit even after eating," sharing an update about her improving diabetes condition. Bae Jong-ok asked, "So that means you've become healthier, right?" and Yoon Hyun-sook responded, "I guess so. That's why I'm going to eat carbohydrates today."
The production team asked, "What do you want to eat the most?" Yoon Hyun-sook replied, "Ramen. It's been almost 4 years? It's been 3 years since I last had some," surprising everyone. Bae Jong-ok empathized, saying, "I haven't eaten ramen much either," and Yoon Hyun-sook confided, "I used to eat it regularly before I got diabetes. I had it once a month."
Upon arriving at the ramen restaurant, the two went through some ups and downs before ordering the menu. Finally getting to showcase her ramen eating after four years, Yoon Hyun-sook expressed, "It's delicious. It's so delicious, the spicy noodle soup," and added chili oil, saying, "Adding this makes it even tastier," as she continued her eating showcase fiercely.
