Lee Jeong revealed her complete recovery from kidney cancer on 'Radio Star.'
On the 18th, in the MBC entertainment program 'Radio Star,' Kim Tae-kyun, Cheon Nok-dam (Lee Jeong), Lee Dae-hyung, and Forestella's Go Woorim appeared as guests.
Lee Jeong was previously diagnosed with stage 1 kidney cancer and underwent surgery, causing concern. In this regard, Lee Jeong noted, "Kidney cancer is now completely cured," which provided relief.
He confessed, "As soon as we got married, there was a health check-up the following year, and my wife just said to try an abdominal CT this year. I did it without thinking. It was discovered there."
He continued, "I was worried about how I should talk about it or if I should quietly undergo surgery alone. The first few months, I couldn't speak. It was the hardest at that time after I found out."
Lee Jeong stated, "I didn't undergo chemotherapy. Fortunately, my treatment ended with surgery," adding, "It's rare for kidney cancer to be discovered at an early stage. I was lucky that it was treated well at an early stage. I think I'm living again."
He expressed, "At that time, I thought I wouldn't be able to sing anymore, and after surgery, I wondered if that was really the end. Going through that made me see the world differently. If I hadn't married, I wouldn't have known this. Thanks to my wife, it was discovered. After that, I'm managing well, and I'm listening carefully to what my wife says."
