Disney+ original series 'Low Life' has confirmed its release date for July 16 and unveiled a launch poster.
The much-anticipated Disney+ original series 'Low Life', featuring reliable actors such as Ryu Seung-ryong, Yang Se-jong, and Lim Soo-jung, is set to premiere on July 16, 2025.
The story of 'Low Life', which revolves around the deceptions of diligent scavengers drawn to a sunken treasure ship in the sea, is highly anticipated due to the collaboration between director Kang Yun-sung, known for his thrilling direction in 'Casino' and 'The Outlaws', and writer Yoon Tae-ho, who has showcased a deep understanding of humanity and solid narratives through popular webtoons 'Misaeng' and 'The Insider'.
Ryu Seung-ryong, who has proven his acting skills and box office appeal through major works such as the Disney+ series 'Moving' and the film 'Extreme Job', will play the role of 'Oh Kwan-seok', the leader of the scavengers who gather to excavate the treasure in the waters off Shinan, revealing a strong presence. Following him, Yang Se-jong, known for his unique charm in the OTT series 'Iduna!' and dramas 'My Country' and 'Temperature of Love', will transform into 'Oh Hee-dong', who sets out to find the treasure alongside his uncle 'Oh Kwan-seok', injecting vitality into the narrative.
