The acting training project of actress Ban Min-jung is shining.
The BMJ Acting Studio, which opened in August last year, has recently changed its name to BMJ Acting Academy and has transferred to an area near Geumcheon-gu Office Station. It has established a wide and professional educational environment to accommodate the increasing number of students and build infrastructure for media content production.
In particular, after its opening, it has achieved a 100% acceptance rate for all students in the Seoul and Gyeonggi region's theater and film departments in the first early entrance exam for the 2025 academic year, and students in elementary and middle school acting classes have won awards in video competitions and the gold medal in a local singing contest, showing excellent results across all age groups.
BMJ Acting Academy offers classes for all ages, from kids to seniors, and provides a customized curriculum covering entrance exams, debut, and hobbies. Recently, new classes such as video competition classes and musical theater classes have been introduced, and they have recruited instructors from prestigious universities and active actors to enhance the competitiveness of their courses.
They are providing practical audition and casting opportunities for students through memorandums of understanding with entertainment and media production companies. They are currently recruiting students for the second session preparing for the 2026 academic year and have structured the faculty with exam monitors and judges for university entrance exams to instill confidence in exam success.
Ban Min-jung noted, "As an educational institution where lectures and practices are conducted under my name, I always feel the weight of responsibility," and expressed her unique confidence by stating, "It is not just an academy, but it provides specialized entrance exam strategies for students as an actor and educator. "
Ban Min-jung, a graduate of Korea National University of Arts and holding a master's degree from Chung-Ang University Graduate School of Arts, has over 20 years of diverse experience in teaching at universities, private lessons for idols, rookie actors, and entrance exam students. As the director, she has solidified her position as an educational expert by being recognized as the winner of the 2024 'Acting Instructor Section Award' and the 2025 'Preferred Educational Institution Award.'
Ban Min-jung is also conducting integrated acting education that cares for students' inner selves by obtaining a psychological counselor certification. After appearing in the drama "Gold is Gold," she has been in the spotlight with the movie "Just Kill Me" and is set to appear in a new project.
