The group TREASURE continues its momentum as it has been invited to Japan's representative summer special music show '2025 FNS Music Festival Summer.'
According to YG Entertainment on the 18th, TREASURE will perform live on Japan's Fuji TV '2025 FNS Music Festival Summer' on July 2. With their name listed in the third lineup, TREASURE is expected to showcase a performance of YG senior artist BIGBANG's 'FANTASTIC BABY,' causing explosive reactions from local fans.
'FNS Music Festival' is a representative Japanese music program that airs during the summer and at the end of the year. TREASURE's second appearance follows last year's year-end broadcast, where they showcased the Japanese version of the song 'STUPID' from their second full album [REBOOT] and collaborated with local top artist Koda Kumi, demonstrating their skills as a 'stage artisan.' They are expected to once again display their presence with a performance that incorporates YG's unique hip-hop vibe.
Celebrating the 4th anniversary of their debut in Japan this year, TREASURE has been showing outstanding performance across various metrics and is very active in the local music market. They topped the Oricon weekly Western album chart for three consecutive weeks with their special mini album [PLEASURE], released in March, and they have maintained their popularity by ranking high in Billboard Japan's 'Top Album Sales Top 20 of the First Half of 2025.'
The '2025 TREASURE FAN CONCERT [SPECIAL MOMENT] IN JAPAN,' which successfully concluded last month, attracted 150,000 spectators and achieved a perfect sell-out for all shows. Notably, starting from the first city of this tour, they set a record of surpassing 1 million cumulative spectators in their Japan solo tour, further solidifying their position as a 'performing artist.'
Thanks to this enthusiasm, a live album capturing the concert will be released, titled '2025 TREASURE FAN CONCERT [SPECIAL MOMENT] IN JAPAN LIVE CD.' The live album will feature 17 live tracks filled with the emotions of the concert, as well as special versions of 'YELLOW' and 'LAST NIGHT' in Japanese.
In celebration of the live album release, a 'MEMORIES OF SPECIAL MOMENT POP-UP STORE' will be opened in major urban areas in Japan. Beginning with Osaka Namba (6/26~7/2) on the release day, it will be successively operated in Shinjuku and Shibuya (6/28~7/7), featuring exhibits that allow fans to enjoy the afterglow of the tour and new merchandise themed around the concert worldview, which is expected to enhance fan satisfaction.
TREASURE will continue to engage with global music fans by participating in major festivals, including the '2025 FNS Music Festival Summer,' as well as '2025 Show! Music Core in JAPAN' to be held on July 5 at Saitama Belluna Dome, and 'Summer Sonic 2025' to be held on August 16 at Osaka Expo 70 Memorial Park.
