Singer-songwriter Woo Ye-rin will release a new song for the first time in about six months since December of last year.
Woo Ye-rin, who has continued her steady activity through numerous hit songs such as 'Red Rose', 'Rabbit', 'Hwa;Month', and 'Let It Go!(Daisy)', will release her new song 'Tinker-ton' today, the 17th (Tuesday) at 6 p.m.
Earlier this year, Woo Ye-rin gained public attention as 'Red Rose' rebounded and appeared on major music broadcasts like 'Inkigayo', 'Music Bank', and 'Music Center'. Through this new song, she aims to present a more mature musical world.
'Tinker-ton' is a refreshing pop-style song that matches the warm sunshine of early summer, characterized by Woo Ye-rin's unique charming voice and impressive arrangements centered on electric drums and keyboards. Particularly, it is inspired by the character 'Doodrijjang', depicting the growth narrative of a protagonist who is whimsical, mischievous, yet lovable, gradually becoming stronger, expressed in a fantastical sentiment.
As the lyrics say, "I tend to crumble over small things, but watch me become stronger every day," the music video is produced in the format of a road movie featuring Woo Ye-rin heading south. It emotionally captures her journey away from the city into lush nature, achieving inner growth.
Meanwhile, along with the release of the new song, Woo Ye-rin is expected to continue her active presence through music broadcasts and festival grants, as well as solo performances and challenges.
