That day, a man running a men's clothing brand and a woman working as his secretary appeared as guests. Seo Jang-hoon, upon seeing the two, cheerfully said, "They are dating. A couple with a 15-year age gap."
The female guest said, "We were quietly dating because of the 15-year age gap, but after my boyfriend shared photos, it became publicly known, and I hear a lot of comments about looking immature due to people's gazes." She noted that she was troubled by the opinions of those around her.
The two said they first met during the man's military service. The male guest shared, "I was on leave as a private and had an accident where I broke my leg. I changed my assignment and went to another location, which was where my girlfriend had worked."
The male guest stated, "I liked her first. She was pretty and spoke beautifully, so I confessed my feelings." He added, "When I confessed, I first heard her age. I wasn't surprised; I just thought as long as she doesn't look too old, it should be fine."
The female guest said, "At first, I declined. I thought my parents would be upset if their beautifully raised son dated an older woman. But after he got discharged, we kept in touch, and I thought, when else would I have the chance to date someone younger, so we ended up together."
The female guest expressed, "Initially, I just wanted to go on dates. But then, I ended up meeting my boyfriend's mother. I was really scared, wondering if she would splash water on me like in a drama."
However, the female guest said she was touched when her boyfriend's mother remarked that age does not matter and that her son should choose his own path in life. Seo Jang-hoon advised the couple, who were concerned about others' opinions, to "avoid social media."
Seo Jang-hoon told the man to seriously consider marriage, stating, "If you have thoughts about it, you should bring it up before your girlfriend does."
