Who will be the first crew to leave 'WSWF'?
Tonight (17th), at 10 p.m., Mnet's 'World of Street Woman Fighter' (directed by Kwon Young-chan, CP, Choi Jeong-nam, PD / hereafter referred to as 'WSWF') will air its fourth episode featuring a 'World of K-Pop' mission where two crews will compete with songs from aespa, Jennie, and G-Dragon. As this is a mission where the first crew elimination will occur, a fierce survival battle over each crew's pride is expected.
In the 'World of K-Pop' mission, the matchups are confirmed as ▲ AG SQUAD vs BUMSUP (aespa's song) ▲ RHTokyo vs BUMSUP (Jennie's song) ▲ MOTIV vs OSAKA Ojo Gang (G-Dragon's song). However, since the music includes a section where they copy each other's choreography, creating choreography that the opposing crew cannot easily replicate is expected to be the biggest factor in determining the victor.
MOTIV and OSAKA Ojo Gang, competing with G-Dragon's song, will start with a fierce psychological battle featuring the 'Choreography Copy Challenge' section to provide dopamine right from the start. To face OSAKA Ojo Gang, led by Ibuki, who possesses intricate locking techniques, MOTIV plans to showcase high-level techniques with Logistx, the representative from the United States breaking team.
The released preview video shows the two crews demonstrating their carefully prepared signature choreography, intensifying the tension. Marlee, the leader of MOTIV, noted, "No one can do what Logistx does," raising expectations for an overwhelmingly difficult challenge. The additional preview video released on the 16th captured the scene of OSAKA Ojo Gang in the elimination battle, increasing curiosity about their fate.
In addition to AG SQUAD competing with aespa's song against ROYAL FAMILY, the match between BUMSUP (representing TEAM KOREA) and RHTokyo (representing TEAM JAPAN) with Jennie's song also draws attention. BUMSUP showed a sense of awakening, saying, "How many K-Pop choreographers are here?" However, this was short-lived as members, including Gabee, were seen shedding tears, stirring curiosity.
After the 'World of K-Pop' mission, the long-awaited elimination battle to determine the first eliminated crew will take place. In the elimination battle, along with Mike Song, the fight judge from 'WSWF', special judges Baby Slick, Back Kooyoung, Ashley Everett, and Kazukiyo are also expected to participate. With the results full of twists and turnarounds, the public is highly interested in who will top the list as the first eliminated crew.
Meanwhile, 'WSWF' has risen to first place in the TV-OTT non-drama category for the second week of June announced by Good Day Corporation FUNdex, maintaining its third consecutive week as the most talked-about program among non-drama shows. Each episode is heating up the atmosphere with thrilling performances, and Mnet's 'WSWF' airs every Tuesday at 10 p.m. (KST).
