SBS entertainment program 'Whenever Possible,' (directed by Choi Bo-pil, written by Chae Jin-ah) is a variety show that gifts luck during brief moments of free time encountered in everyday life. The 26th episode airing today (17th) at 9 p.m. will feature Namgoong Min, Jeon Yeo-bin, and Lee Seol as 'friends of the gaps,' creating anticipation for their meeting with Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok.
Amid this, Namgoong Min draws attention by sharing a painful story from his unknown days. He recalls his connection to Yeouido, saying, "Memories of being scolded many times at the broadcasting station come to mind" as he reminisces about his unknown days. In response, Yoo Jae-suk empathizes, saying, "The directors back then were really scary. Didn't you also suffer for a long time, Gung Min?" To this, Namgoong Min reveals, "I have also been cut after a script reading before," shocking everyone with his painful past. This was a story unimaginable for the now-award-winning Namgoong Min. He calmly recalls, "After the script reading, I even got to go to dinner, but I was the only one who got cut. When I saw the others appearing on TV, it hurt my heart." He continues, "When I see those who have survived up to now at award ceremonies, I feel like saying, 'You survived too,'" sharing his innermost thoughts. Yoo Jae-suk reflects this with, "Maybe because we spent difficult times together, there's a sense of camaraderie that has developed," revealing a deep understanding of the tough life in the entertainment industry.
Meanwhile, Yoo Yeon-seok captures attention by revealing his audition overcoming route from his rookie days. "I also have many memories of auditioning in Yeouido," Yoo Yeon-seok begins, reminiscing about the heartbreaking times by saying, "This is the road where my empty feelings were comforted after auditions." He shares that, "If I was feeling down after an audition, my manager would say, 'Shall we go here?'" revealing the small joys that supported him during that time.
