Namgung-min recalled the story of being cut from a role after a script reading in the past.
In the SBS program 'Time Out' aired on the 17th, actors Namgung-min, Jeon Yeo-bin, and Lee Seol appeared as 'time friends', while Namgung-min talked about the sorrow during his past unknown days.
Namgung-min said, 'I used to audition a lot in the past.' He added, 'I had a feeling of about 95% that it wouldn't happen, and the feeling that it might happen was about 5%.' Yoo Jae-suk said, 'It's been a long time of hardship.' Namgung-min also said, 'I failed all auditions too,' adding, 'When you audition, after about ten days the answer usually comes, and if it passes ten days, I felt like it didn't work out.'
Lee Seol said, 'I also failed almost all auditions.' Jeon Yeo-bin noted, 'In the beginning, even after applying for auditions, I didn't get any contact. But as I gradually worked on independent films, that led to the situation where I started receiving contacts.'
Namgung-min talked about the sorrowful memories of his unknown days, saying, 'There were times I was cut after a script reading. After the reading, I attended a company dinner and was cut, so when I saw people appearing on TV, my heart felt that way.' He reflected, 'I wondered who the person replacing me was as I watched.'
Namgung-min said, 'When I see the people who survived until now at award ceremonies, I think, 'Oh, you survived too.' Yoo Jae-suk remarked while looking at Namgung-min, 'I feel a camaraderie with you since you've had a long time of hardship.'
