In the video, Minyoung revealed various stories surrounding BBGIRLS. BBGIRLS is a three-member girl group consisting of Minyoung, Eunji, and Yuna, which is the group that re-debuted as Brave Girls. They moved past their disbandment crisis with the reverse sailing of 'Rollin,' but reorganized into a trio after Yujeong left last year.
The discord rumors arose due to Yujeong's departure. Minyoung said, "It was around the time Yujeong left that the three members traveled to a place called Bohol. Some people may have misunderstood seeing the three of us go on a trip. At that time, we had somewhat resolved things among ourselves, but it was a situation we couldn't talk about outside," adding, "I had planned the trip a month in advance, but in the meantime, Yujeong left, so it ended up being just the three of us who could go."
Minyoung added, "It was sudden when Yujeong expressed her intention to leave. I asked, 'Why? We have no problems,' but after spending ten years together, there must have been various thoughts among each other. The members also decided to respect that and parted ways, agreeing to support each other."
Minyoung also honestly addressed another rumor about retiring from the entertainment industry after opening a café. He noted, "At that time, I intended to continue my activities as a singer, and I clarified that I didn't plan to live only as a café owner."
He continued, "To open a café, you have to have a qualification certificate, so I studied and took practical classes to get a barista certification. I worked for a year and then quit last March. It's safe to say I had almost no revenue," adding, "Running a business is really hard. I want to give a round of applause to those in self-employment."
Meanwhile, BBGIRLS, to which Minyoung belongs, met fans at '2025 BBGIRLS FANMEETING Missing File 0803' held at Spigen Hall on the 8th. Yujeong, who left BBGIRLS, will appear on 'Kim Jun-ho's Fencing Academy' along with announcer Lee Yoon-jung of KBS, Han Jae-in, and Lee Jeol.
