It has been five years since Yoo-han, a member of the group Secret, passed away.
Yoo-han from Secret died at a young age on June 16, 2020, at the age of 28. The cause of death was not disclosed at the request of the family.
At the time, Secret's agency KJ Music Entertainment noted, "It is with a heavy heart that we convey this extremely tragic and sorrowful news. Yoo-han passed away on the 16th. The grieving family is in deep pain. We express our deepest condolences on Yoo-han's last journey."
Yoo-han had frequently communicated with fans through social media and live broadcasts until three weeks before his death, so the sudden news was a shock to fans. His team opened an online mourning space so that global fans could also bid farewell to the late artist.
Fans were aware that Yoo-han had expressed a wish for the song 'Paradise' among Secret's active songs to become famous, and they commemorated him by streaming the song. As a result, 'Paradise' gained significant attention.
Born in 1992, Yoo-han debuted in 2015 with the group NOM, but after the team disbanded, he re-debuted as a member of Secret in 2017. Secret gained attention with their debut song 'She,' and has since released songs such as 'Paradise,' 'Wake Up,' and 'Countdown.'
However, Secret reduced its lineup to five or four members due to the departure of some members and military enlistment in 2018. Secret's last activities were in January 2020.
