On the 15th, a grand wedding ceremony was held in an outdoor wedding hall in Seocho District, Seoul, between Lee Yeon-ji and Jung Woo-young, a football player for Bundesliga FC Union Berlin.
The event was hosted by Yoo Jae-suk, with Crush providing the wedding song, and many figures from the entertainment industry, including Park Soo-hong, Cho Sae-ho, Jeong Jong-cheol, Hong Seok-cheon, Kang Soo-jung, and Hyeon Young, were in attendance. However, the person who drew the most attention that day was the bride's father, Lee Kwang-gi. He could not contain his emotions during his speech and burst into tears as he began to speak.

Their new home is expected to be established in Berlin, Germany, where Jung Woo-young is currently active.

However, he also noted that "becoming the wife of an athlete is never an easy task, so I had some concerns," adding, "But our daughter is quick and skilled at managing a household, just like her mother, so I have no worries."
Lee Yeon-ji previously appeared on SBS "You Child's Fortune" and won viewers' hearts with her cute and innocent image, sparking discussion due to her visual resemblance to Son Ye-jin. She announced her wedding news via social media, stating, "I have met the person I want to love forever. I am about to start a new life in Germany," expressing her excitement.
