The production process of the group RIIZE's (SM Entertainment) first regular album 'ODYSSEY' has been revealed.
On 15th at 9 p.m., a new episode of the real-time content 'RISE & REALIZE' was released on RIIZE's official YouTube channel, vividly capturing everything from the listening session related to RIIZE's first regular album 'ODYSSEY' to the recording site and choreography practice, along with interviews of the six members.
In particular, in this episode, RIIZE expressed their broad impressions of the music and performance after hearing the title track 'Fly Up' for the first time, saying, "I think it's going to do well. It's a song that will make listeners excited and want to dance along," and, "The choreography is stylish. It's playful and mischievous, so I think it will well showcase the members' personalities."
Furthermore, the preparation process for each track was introduced. During the recording of 'Ember to Solar', which highlights high notes, a member revealed their determination by saying, "I want to do well on anything, not avoiding difficult songs," and despite not being in good condition, they passionately stated, "If we record well, it'll be something that lasts a lifetime," showcasing their ongoing 'growth and realization' during the recording of 'The End of the Day'.
Additionally, after carefully listening to each other's recording for 'Odyssey,' the members proceeded to tracks such as 'Bag Bad Back,' 'Show Me Love,' 'Midnight Mirage,' and 'Inside My Love,' before sharing their feelings about the album with the statement, "I'm glad we have such songs on our album," referring to 'Another Life.'
RIIZE topped the million-seller list in just a week with their first regular album 'ODYSSEY', released on the 19th of last month. They achieved first place on the Circle Monthly Retail Album Chart in May, ranked first on the QQ Music digital album sales chart in China, and received 'platinum' certification. They also ranked first on the Billboard Japan Download Album Chart, as well as first on the Line Music Real-time and Daily Album TOP100, and first on the AWA Real-time Rising Chart, garnering global popularity.
