Broadcaster Kim So-young revealed her inner thoughts after becoming the CEO of a department store in Gangnam.
Kim So-young had a time to interact with fans on the 15th. When a fan mentioned they didn't attend out of concern for becoming a burden without purchasing a product, she opened the conversation by saying, "Ah... I actually have something I want to say regarding this."
As she continued, she explained, "I deliberately did not impose any purchasing conditions on greetings or lucky draws with me, because I want everyone to come and say hello and meet with me."
She added, "I think there are people who couldn't come because they were worried about feeling sorry for not being able to make a purchase, so I have been concerned about that. I would like you to attend any events where I meet with everyone in bookstores, book clubs, book fairs, or future events without worrying about such things."
Finally, she added, "When you actually come, it's so warm. So don't worry about it being an atmosphere that pressures you in any way. For those who couldn't make it this weekend, I hope to meet you next time."
Meanwhile, Kim So-young and Oh Sang-jin developed a romantic relationship after being senior-junior colleagues at MBC, and after dating for two years, they held their wedding ceremony in April 2017. Additionally, Kim So-young left MBC in 2017 and is currently active as a freelance broadcaster, while also running various businesses such as a bookstore and curation shop.
