In KBS2's 'Boss's ears are donkey ears', Lee Soon-sil captivates viewers by receiving a fortune about Jun Hyun-moo's marriage timing from a shaman.
KBS 2TV's 'Boss's ears are donkey ears' (directed by Ahn Sang-eun, hereafter referred to as 'Boss's ears') is a self-reflective program that promotes empathy among bosses in Korea to create a more enjoyable workplace. In the last episode, it recorded a top rating of 5.7%, continuing 158 weeks of being the No. 1 entertainment program during the same time slot. (according to Nielsen Korea)
In the 310th episode of 'Boss's ears' airing today (15th), Lee Soon-sil is shown exploring the market to open a cold noodle restaurant in Dongducheon, following the previous episode's storyline. In the midst of this, a shaman that Lee encounters by chance in the Dongducheon market surprises everyone by revealing Jun Hyun-moo's marriage timing.
In the Dongducheon market, Lee Soon-sil is so charmed by the sight of citizens approaching her saying, 'Soon-sil!' that she becomes engrossed in an eating show. Watching this, Jun Hyun-moo clicks his tongue in disappointment, saying, 'Oh, if you eat like that, of course, your stomach won't listen to you.' At this moment, a woman who warmly greets Lee Soon-sil in the middle of the market smiles brightly and tells her, 'You have good fortune on your face; you're destined to hit it big!' This woman turns out to be the shaman.
Delighted by the shaman's fortune-telling, Lee Soon-sil asks, 'What about Jun Hyun-moo? When can Jun Hyun-moo get married?' This unexpected question from Lee Soon-sil makes even Jun Hyun-moo, who is in the studio, smile and watch closely, raising curiosity about the shaman's answer.
At this moment, the shaman reveals, 'This might be really sad if I say it,' igniting curiosity. The shaman states, 'It seems likely that he will get married very late,' then adds, 'He won't be single, but he will get married in his 60s and will have one child. It seems he will marry someone much younger than him.'
This elicited loud laughter in the studio, with Jun Hyun-moo confessing, 'Actually, every skilled shaman I've met has said that I'll get married late,' acknowledging the humorous shaman's prediction.
It remains to be seen whether the marriage timing revealed by the shaman will be accurate; the tale of the shaman met in Dongducheon will be disclosed through the main broadcast of 'Boss's ears.'
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV's 'Boss's ears are donkey ears' airs every Sunday at 4:40 p.m.
