In the latest episode of Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant, Ki Eun-se expressed her gratitude towards her older brother, who is two years her senior.
In the episode aired on the 13th, the KBS2 variety show Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant depicted Ki Eun-se preparing a special home party with her older brother, who is two years her senior.
On that day, Ki Eun-se introduced her brother, who is two years older. Her brother stated, "Since Eun-se lives alone, I'm trying to help with the things that a man can do. That's why I come over often."
Ki Eun-se described her brother as someone who is "very blunt, but he helps a lot with actions," adding, "He is also very good at cooking. So I told him to consider opening a restaurant for a while."
Her brother revealed, "I started cooking after I was discharged from the military in my 20s," noting that he has more than 20 years of cooking experience. Ki Eun-se remarked, "I lived with my brother in my 20s, and back then, he cooked a lot more than I did," while her brother confidently claimed, "I can do all kinds of cooking: Korean, Chinese, Western."
The two showcased their culinary skills for family members visiting their home. Her brother prepared his specialty, barbecue, while Ki Eun-se made a dish with cod for her sister-in-law.
Throughout the process, her brother displayed a caring side by fulfilling all of Ki Eun-se's requests. When the panelists reacted, saying, "You ask a lot," Ki Eun-se comically admitted, "When I was young, my brother really hit me a lot. I only have my brother to ask these things from. So, I appreciate that he does this for me."
In an interview, Ki Eun-se's brother responded to a question about why he is so kind to his sister, saying, "Since Eun-se lives alone, there's no choice but to help her like this. I think I try to assist her in many ways."
Especially mentioning Ki Eun-se's divorce, her brother confessed, "I found out quite late. I didn't know at all about the process in between, and I learned about it only after everything was over. I simply told her she did well. I think the fact that she made a difficult decision is commendable. I don't think she is someone who can't live alone. I believe she will live well."
When asked by Boom about the reason for informing the family last, Ki Eun-se replied, "I was concerned they would worry. I think I was going to talk about it once everything was sorted out."
When Ki Eun-se's brother was asked if he hopes his sister will start dating again, he responded, "I hope she can date freely. If she wants to get married, she will. She might do it two or three times. I hope she finds an honest and reliable man."
Ki Eun-se expressed, "The thing I'm most grateful for about my brother is that he never says 'no' when I ask him for something. He always comes when I need him, and he really supports me. My brother is my Hong Ban-jang. He runs to me anytime and anywhere."
