'Jun Hyun-moo Project 2' actor Kim Kang-woo showcased his affectionate relationship by mentioning his '15 years married' wife during a cheerful eating trip with Jun Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube.
In the 33rd episode of the full-fledged reality street food documentary 'Jun Hyun-moo Project 2' (co-produced by MBN and Channel S), aired on the 13th (Friday), Jun Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin) embarked on a food trip with their 'eating friend' Kim Kang-woo to explore special dishes that can only be tasted in Daegu. They discovered everything from the mixed sashimi known as 'Daegu's top 10 delicacies' to local restaurants serving 'Chinese-style' yakisoba and mixed Chinese fried rice that can only be found in Daegu, delighting the viewers with a wealth of information and entertainment.
That day, Jun Hyun-moo, who returned to Daegu, brought Kwak Tube to visit the 'Daegu K headquarters,' where he worked over 20 years ago. As he excitedly introduced the building to Kwak Tube during the long-awaited visit, broadcaster Park Eun-jung, who co-hosted 'Live Broadcast Muyung' with Jun Hyun-moo at that time, made a surprise appearance, bringing joy.
However, the joy was short-lived, as Park Eun-jung revealed Jun Hyun-moo's past broadcasting incidents and 'dark history,' leaving him bewildered. Nevertheless, regaining his composure, Jun Hyun-moo inquired about local restaurants, asking Park Eun-jung, '(Hong) Joo-yeon was at the Daegu K headquarters, right? Did she do well?' This caught attention, and Kwak Tube interjected, 'Why are you worried about (Announcer Hong Joo-yeon)?' while asking if 'Hyun-moo hyung and Hong Joo-yeon fit well together?' Afterward, Jun Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube headed to the Ban-go kitchen that Park Eun-jung introduced. There, they met 'eating friend' Kim Kang-woo and together they selected the original restaurant, which boasts 57 years of tradition, among the many mixed sashimi restaurants. Immediately, they enjoyed flat dumplings and beef pancakes wrapped with the mixed sashimi, fully enjoying the 'new world of taste.'
While eating, Kim Kang-woo brought up his recently started YouTube channel, sharing humor as he exuded 'neighbor uncle charm.' He particularly called the 'power YouTuber' Kwak Tube 'senior' and expressed his ambition for collaboration, causing laughter. Meanwhile, Jun Hyun-moo envied, saying, 'Kang-woo has been a Lions fan and has thrown many first pitches for the Lions, all winning.' He added, 'I'm the opposite; when I throw the first pitch, the opposing team cheers because I lose,' revealing his own jinx.
After finishing the eating session by mixing rice with the sashimi thoroughly, the three headed straight to a Chinese restaurant located in Icheon-dong, Daegu, for a 'second eating session.' At the Chinese restaurant, they first tasted 'bubok' sweet and sour pork, and exclaimed, 'This is pride!' in genuine admiration. Following that, when yakisoba and mixed Chinese fried rice were served, Kim Kang-woo declared, 'I don't care,' visibly releasing his eating appetite. Sweating profusely while showcasing a 'storm eating session,' Jun Hyun-moo mentioned, 'They say he's known as 'Bangbae-dong Kim Kwan-sik,' referring to Yang Kwan-sik, the purehearted husband in the drama 'When Life Gives You Tangerines.' He then asked, 'But you can't avoid fights in a marriage of 15 years, can you?' inquiring about 'boredom' in relationships. In response, Kim Kang-woo said, 'A boredom comes only when one has leisure. With a child just two months after getting married and raising two children spaced two years apart, I've dedicated myself to that. My wife perfectly supported me while I worked,' expressing gratitude towards her.
Hearing this, Jun Hyun-moo expressed, 'What I desire most is a partner, a wife like a friend,' feeling envious. However, Kwak Tube pointed out that 'most viewers think Jun Hyun-moo has such high standards that he can't get married,' asking directly.
