Actor Kwon Sang Woo revealed his recent transformation of the 'car wash building' in Seongsu-dong.
On the 14th, a video titled "Seoul man Kwon Sang Woo, New Jersey woman Son Tae Young" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Mrs. New Jersey Son Tae Young'.
The released video features Kwon Sang Woo introducing his newly built building located in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, following Son Tae Young, who is spending her daily life in New Jersey.
On this day, Kwon Sang Woo stated, "It is not finished yet," and revealed the interior, explaining that the building, which was previously used as a car wash, has now been remodeled into a space for various pop-up events. He added, "Since Seongsu-dong has that kind of atmosphere, I thought it would be better to do it that way," and remarked, "I also put a lot of effort into the restroom."
In fact, the building boasts a location just one minute on foot from Seoul Forest and Ttukseom Station. Regarding this, Kwon Sang Woo remarked, "(For now) I have only done the basics. It has to get inquiries," and added, "It would be great if this goes well. Then I can stay in the U.S. a little longer. With my family," he said with a smile.
He continued, "I can't rush like I did when I was younger, doing three projects a year. Now, I want to focus on one project. To do that, I honestly need financial freedom as an actor. To immerse myself fully in the work, I think it's good to have certain things set up."
Meanwhile, Kwon Sang Woo purchased the factory site in Seongsu-dong for 8 billion won in 2015 under his name and has been using it as a car wash. After demolishing the building, he proceeded with new construction, and it is now estimated that the site value exceeds 43 billion won.
