Emotional hit songs that evoke youth appear on '20th Century Hit Song.'
The 268th episode of KBS Joy's '20th Century Hit Song,' which airs at 8:30 p.m. on the 13th, introduces memorable songs that revive the youth of that time under the theme 'Summoning youth at first listen! Youth hit song.'
On this day, Lee Hu-jong's 'Tomorrow is Love (1993)' will appear. This song is the main theme song of the KBS youth drama 'Tomorrow is Love,' and footage featuring the fresh appearances of actors Lee Byung-hun, Go So-young, and Park So-hyun, who appeared in the drama at that time, will also be presented.
After hearing the song, Lee Mi-joo said, "The melody is just youth," expressing admiration, and after seeing the footage, she noted, "Watching the video makes me want to be young again," adding, "It's so exciting; doesn't it look like so much fun just to run around doing nothing? I can't run now," which elicited laughter.
Continuing to immerse herself in the drama scenes, Lee Mi-joo said, "I want to feel excited," while Kim Hee-chul also added, "I want to feel excited. I don't have any excitement at all," expressing agreement.
Additionally, Lee Mi-joo noted, "In an interview in 2008, Lee Byung-hun mentioned 'the character of Bum-soo in 'Tomorrow is Love' as the one that best suits his personality.' She mentioned that she still enjoys singing the insertion song of 'Tomorrow is Love' at karaoke, saying that singing it reminds her of her fresh and rookie days.
The broadcast will also feature Lee Joo-won's 'For the Love I Saved' and Jang Dong-gun's 'The Path to You' as insertion songs that evoke the memories of youth.
In addition, songs that recently garnered attention for the duet stage with IU and Park Bo-gum, a song that Son Ye-jin continuously listened to while filming an emotional scene, and songs made by Yoo Hee-yeol based on a friend's story will also be revealed in the '20th Century Hit Song' airing at 8:30 p.m. on the 13th.
