Hong Hye Ryon of Problem Child in House shared her enthusiasm about working with Peppertones.
On the 12th, KBS2TV's entertainment program Problem Child in House featured Hong Hye Ryon and Peppertones coming together as 'Mechanism.' Shin Jae Pyeong, making his first appearance on Problem Child in House, displayed a somewhat shy demeanor, bringing laughter.
The combination of Hong Hye Ryon and Peppertones was Mechanism, and upon seeing this, Hong Jin Kyung said, 'They really made it. I was there when they created that.'
Hong Hye Ryon said, 'Last year at the Yeo Jae Seok 'Pung Gye Go' awards ceremony, Cha Seung Won, Park Shin Hye, and many others attended. Peppertones sat next to me.' She continued, 'Lee Jang Won and Shin Jae Pyeong don't talk much, right? But a while ago, I directed the play 'I Love You, Mom,' and when Yeo Jae Seok asked how I directed a play, I told him I did it 5 years ago, so I know Mechanism. Lee Jang Won chuckled about the origin of the name and how it all started.'
Shin Jae Pyeong expressed his surprise, saying, 'At first, I thought it was a joke. Yeo Jae Seok called Peppertones. It was the agency, and there was a Mechanism contract.' Lee Jang Won said, 'At that point, it felt like they were asking for our opinions. But they said that within a month or two, we should release a song. Issues cool off quickly, so they said it's better to release it soon. I felt anxious.'
Hong Hye Ryon revealed a shocking schedule. Shin Jae Pyeong said, 'Peppertones always had a festival and concert schedule, but after creating Mechanism, the schedule changed.' Hong Hye Ryon firmly stated, 'Today is the recording of 'Park Bo Gun's Cantabile.'
Hong Jin Kyung expressed surprise, saying, 'The producer of 'Park Bo Gun's Cantabile' is such an open-minded person.' Hong Hye Ryon firmly replied, 'He's a closed-minded person. But he listened to our song and thought this could work.'
Hong Hye Ryon continued, 'We need to make several music broadcasts. I packed my schedule and suggested many things. Then the representative Song Eun Yi called me and said, 'It might be hard to accept them all. Your energy is different. Isn't this a team?' This made Peppertones shiver in apprehension.
They released two new songs. Surprisingly calm and unexpectedly lively, these songs showcased their harmony. Yang Se Chan asked, 'Who is the leader?' and Hong Hye Ryon answered, 'Since Lee Jang Won is sitting in the middle, he is the leader,' which brought laughter.
Hong Hye Ryon made everyone laugh by saying, 'The vocal ratio is 90% me.' Yang Se Chan shook his head, saying, 'You're treating him like a junior comedian.' Hong Hye Ryon added, 'Shin Jae Pyeong resembles Yeo Jae Seok,' explaining that 'It's a song reflecting the sorrows of office workers. Originally, I wore an employee ID while singing.'
Hong Hye Ryon continued, 'It's co-produced, and Yeo Jae Seok is the assistant. He comes during the music video shooting to give advice and such,' proudly showing her solid support.
