Actor Lee Jong-hyuk revealed that his eldest son, Tak-soo, was an idol trainee at Starship.

That day, Si-wu-min invited actor Lee Jong-hyuk as a guest and personally served him ramen. During the meal, he marveled, "I'm seeing you for the first time, but you are really tall," and Lee Jong-hyuk said, "I have shrunk. I was 184 cm when I went to the military, but now I look up at kids who are 184 cm. I must have shrunk to 181 or 182 cm?"
In response, Si-wu-min asked, "Is Junsu over 190 cm?" Lee Jong-hyuk replied, "He's 194 cm. Really tall. Is my kid 181 cm? My kid is short," and noted, "I think it's because he can't sleep well."
He said, "I wanted to learn broadcasting dance in the past, but somehow, I received an offer to be an idol trainee at Starship. 'If you do well, you can appear on TV and learn dance from a professional for free,' so I went but the kid can't sleep. After school, he takes a bus to Gangnam to practice and comes home at night. So, he gave up. I think that's why he hasn't grown since then."
In response, Si-wu-min asked, "Were you tall back then?" Lee Jong-hyuk said, "I was tall for a middle school student."
