'Exit' director Lee Sang-geun and the production team's new work 'Pretty Crazy' (director: Lee Sang-geun, provided by: CJ ENM, produced by: Woo Yoon-nae Kang Co., Ltd.) will unveil three types of posters and a launch trailer.
'Pretty Crazy' is a devilish comedy that tells the story of a young unemployed man, Gil-gu (Ahn Bo-hyun), who takes on a bizarre part-time job to monitor Seon-ji (Lim Yoon-a), who wakes up as a devil every dawn, and ends up having his soul completely stripped.
Director Lee Sang-geun, who achieved a box office miracle with 9.42 million viewers for his debut film 'Exit' in 2019, returns once again with Lim Yoon-a and the 'Exit' production team for 'Pretty Crazy.' The film boldly unveiled three posters this morning, promising a funny comedy that is both spicy and bold this summer. A compelling cast of talented actors, including the addictive devil Seon-ji (Lim Yoon-a), the harmless young unemployed man Gil-gu (Ahn Bo-hyun), the enlightened devil father (Sung Dong-il), and the odd niece Ara (Joo Hyun-young), has come together to create a unique comedy.
The released posters create intrigue with Lim Yoon-a's visual transformation as the devil, featuring wild eyes and a bubbling hair, alongside the combination of strong and weak, represented by the frightened expression of the young unemployed man Gil-gu (Ahn Bo-hyun) with a large stature. The phrase "A chilling part-time hell begins every dawn" hints at the arduous story that Gil-gu (Ahn Bo-hyun) will experience alongside the devil (Lim Yoon-a). The trailer, released alongside, showcases Lim Yoon-a's devilish performance polished in director Lee Sang-geun's unique style, while Ahn Bo-hyun's innocent portrayal is captivating. Each scene revealed in the trailer heightens expectations for the new mise-en-scène and story development never seen before.
The movie 'Pretty Crazy', which promises new and unique fun that has never been seen before, will be released in theaters in August.
