Familiar faces will appear on MBC Radio 'Today Morning with Yoon Sang.' Starting from the third week of June, Go player Lee Sedol, actress Kim Ji-ho, and the main vocalist of the band Daybreak, Lee Won-seok, will take the microphone as special DJs.
During the third week of June, when DJ Yoon Sang goes on vacation, three special DJs will take turns hosting 'Today Morning' to fill his absence.
First, Go player Lee Sedol will challenge himself as a radio DJ for the first time in his life. He received worldwide attention for his matches against the AI 'AlphaGo,' and recently made headlines again through his appearance on the Netflix reality show 'Devil's Plan 2.' The broadcast will cover various topics, including behind-the-scenes stories of his matches against AI, hidden tales from 'Devil's Plan 2,' and his life story. For two days, listeners will have the opportunity to hear Lee Sedol's sincere voice, which has never been revealed through radio.
Actress Kim Ji-ho is communicating with the public in a different way by recently publishing her first essay collection, 'When My Heart Quakes, I'm Willing to Be Alone.' After a long time away from radio, she shares stories from life and daily routines, as well as messages she wants to convey through yoga, in her warm voice. Kim Ji-ho said, 'Radio is a warm medium full of humanity,' and expressed her happiness at being able to communicate with listeners through 'Today Morning.'
Lee Won-seok, the main vocalist of the band Daybreak and known as 'Yoon Sang's neighborhood friend,' will join as a special DJ. He usually appears as a regular guest on 'Today Morning,' showcasing great chemistry with DJ Yoon Sang. This time, he will take the main microphone and add musical depth to the program. With Daybreak's solo concert coming up in July, interest is also growing in Lee Won-seok's unique charm as a radio DJ.
