The Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation (Chairperson Shin Hee-young) announced today that it has received a donation of 3 million won for the treatment of children with cancer from the fan cafe of singer Lim Young-woong, 'Daegu Hero Era Together Room.'
This donation was voluntarily raised by fans in celebration of Lim Young-woong's upcoming birthday (June 16) and the success of his second studio album. The donation will be used entirely for the treatment of children with cancer in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk area.
'Daegu Hero Era Together Room' has continued to make anniversary donations three times since 2023.
A fan club official noted, "On June 16, Lim Young-woong's birthday and wishing for the big success of the second studio album, we wanted to convey courage and warm hearts to the children fighting childhood cancer. Although it's a small gesture, we hope that the 'value of togetherness' created by Lim Young-woong and Hero Era resonates positively in the world."
Ha Jung-yeon, director of the Daegu Naeum Childhood Cancer Center at the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation, said, "The sincere support and warm hearts of Lim Young-woong's fans are a great strength for the children and their families. I am grateful to singer Lim Young-woong and the fan club."
