'I'm SOLO' participant 26, Yeongja, used a super date ticket on Sangcheol.
The Nov. 11 broadcast of ENA and SBS Plus 'I'm SOLO' depicted the 26th group of solo men and women discussing their choices for dates after the men made their selections.
On this day, after eating a lonely meal, Yeongja organized her feelings regarding Yeongcheol and declared her direct interest in Sangcheol. While having a meal with Oksun, he stated, "I think I can express my feelings directly to Sangcheol as my heart dictates. I don't need to worry about Yeongcheol anymore."
When asked about the reason, Yeongja replied, "It seems cool to directly approach Jeongsuk." In a subsequent interview, he explained, "I used to feel 50-50 about Yeongcheol until this morning, but that's gone. It's faded out. The image I have of Yeongcheol makes me think he wouldn't approach directly and would be hesitant, and that created uncertainty. However, that uncertainty turned into certainty by not choosing me today."
He then stated, "(The lonely meal) doesn't feel good, but my mind is clearer. Even if I can't achieve a good result by approaching Sangcheol, I will stay true to my feelings."
Meanwhile, the competition for the super date ticket began, and the first person to obtain it was none other than Yeongja. At this moment, Sangcheol avoided Yeongja's gaze, but she declared, "In the conversation I initiated yesterday, I said I would use it on Sangcheol. But he avoided my gaze. I don't see that as a negative sign. I feel like I need to do more in the remaining time."
Later, when Jeongsuk, who was next to Sangcheol, left, Yeongja confessed, "I will use the super date ticket on Sangcheol." He added, "To be honest, it's more important to me who I'm with than what we do. I'm just happy that I have the opportunity to date."
Yeongja also revealed, "I said that if there's really no possibility left for me, I wouldn't waste my time anymore, but I couldn't talk because Jeongsuk was there the whole time. Jeongsuk kept saying that 'Sangcheol has expressed a lot' and 'There's only Jeongsuk,' which made me think a lot."
Sangcheol noted, "Isn't there essentially no limitation in being solo? I think it's fine if you don't consider that." He mentioned that during a past interview, he had compared two individuals and replied that they felt similar in nature. Yeongja responded, "It seems like I'm taking that as a good sign, but I'm going to use the super date ticket on Sangcheol again, saying 'Wow, that's great,' and laughed.
