After School member Kahi shared her pregnancy episode.
On the 11th, a video titled "The toughest parenting talk of Kahi, mom of two sons in a parenting jungle (?)" was uploaded to the 'Sister-in-law is K.Will' channel.
In the video that day, Kahi appeared as a guest to share her pregnancy experiences. Currently a mother of two sons, she learned about her second pregnancy while traveling, saying, "Upon arriving in Bali, I found out I was pregnant with my second child. I had my first child with me, and we just went on a trip together, but my body condition kept feeling strange. I told my husband, 'I feel a little off,' so I took a (pregnancy) test, but it didn't show up. It didn't show up even twice. So we just went on."
She continued, "Since we were going to Bali after a long time, we scheduled all the spots for surfing. On the first day after arriving, I thought something was really off, but my husband had a pregnancy test. He said I kept saying something was wrong. I took the test, and it clearly showed I was pregnant. Two lines appeared. So I couldn't do anything and had to just go on a prenatal trip."
Kahi said, "I gave birth to my first child naturally. I had a caesarean section with the second. Suddenly, I was bleeding while sleeping. At that time, I was actually filming 'Superman Returns.' The filming team was all set up in anticipation of the due date. They were on standby, but suddenly, blood was gushing out in the middle of the night."
Hearing this, K.Will said, "That's so scary to me. I don't even have older sisters on either side of my family. So I'm really scared about things like that."
In response, Kahi said, "I was so shocked that I wrapped myself in a shower towel. The filming team was suddenly calling me, asking how anyone could come at that hour. Anyway, I contacted them and rushed to the hospital, and then the filming team suddenly came. They set up in the delivery room. I still wanted to try for a natural birth instead of a caesarean, thinking I could endure it, but the doctor said a caesarean would be necessary. I heard that if you have a baby in your belly, there are many membranes between the belly and the skin. There's something called the placenta, and you have to tear through the placenta for the baby to come out. So the baby came out tearing through the placenta."
K.Will asked, "Was recovery after giving birth okay?" and Kahi replied, "I breastfed for 100 days after giving birth to my first child. Then I returned to working out, but when I tried doing sit-ups, I had no strength in my abdomen at all. In fact, there was 1% of strength. That was really strange. I thought I should be able to exert power, but even when I tried, it felt like a deflated balloon. It was so hard because of that, so I worked out for three hours a day trying to regain my strength. I didn't eat carbohydrates for three months. I lost weight doing that. And I found my strength again. Doing that, it gradually started to come back. It was really tough." She added, "During my second pregnancy, I relaxed a bit. I had such a tough time with my first that I didn't want to do that during the second. I took things slowly."
Meanwhile, Kahi married her husband, who is three years younger, in March 2016 and has two sons.
