Actress Kim Ha-young expressed anger over impersonation fraud involving a dating app.
On the 11th, Kim Ha-young posted on her social media, "Seriously, aren't you guys going too far? There are more than this, and I've been receiving reports that my face is being used for scams on dating apps."
She followed up by urging, "Please don't be deceived since it's not me and report it," adding, "However, while it's fine if you share my photo, it annoys me that it includes my family, my dogs, and acquaintances. Don't touch that."
She then revealed photos of impersonation accounts that included her pictures along with her pets and acquaintances. It was apparent she expressed strong anger over the harm not only to herself but also to her family and acquaintances, leaving a warning. In particular, it was shocking that multiple accounts were found that illegally used Kim Ha-young's photos.
As Kim Ha-young appealed for help regarding the impersonation damage, her fans also expressed concern. Fans commented, "I almost subscribed and liked, thinking it was a sub account," and, "It seems like many scam accounts are being created overseas these days." It appears that Kim Ha-young left a warning message out of concern that not only her portrait rights were being violated but also that her acquaintances and fans might suffer damage as well.
Kim Ha-young started gaining recognition as a reenactment actress on MBC's 'Surprise' since 2004. She became known as the Kim Tae-hee of 'Surprise' and appeared in the 'Song Along Samchuly' segment on KBS 2TV's 'Gag Concert' in 2019.
Recently, she announced her marriage this fall to her boyfriend, who is two years older, whom she has been dating for three years, receiving many congratulations.
