The late Choi Jin-sil's daughter, Choi Jun-hee, enjoyed a filial piety trip to Vietnam with her aunt instead of her grandmother, amid rumors of family discord.
On the 10th, a video titled "A vlog of eating in Vietnam with grandma on Parents' Day" was posted on Choi Jun-hee's YouTube channel "Jun-hee." In the video, Choi Jun-hee is seen tightly holding her aunt's hand while roaming street restaurants with her boyfriend, enjoying crab noodles and more.
The aunt watched Choi Jun-hee fondly, saying, "She was a baby but has now become a young lady." During the meal, Choi Jun-hee's boyfriend stepped out briefly to buy flowers, returning to say, "It's a surprise for grandma," to which Choi Jun-hee expressed her joy, stating, "You're so thoughtful, really."
The aunt, who raised Choi Jun-hee in place of the late Choi Jin-sil and the late Jo Sung-min, said, "I am so glad that things turned out well after all the hardships," continuously bragging about her granddaughter.
Choi Jun-hee, the daughter of the late Choi Jin-sil and the younger sister of Choi Hwan-hee from ZFlat, is currently connecting with fans through daily life, beauty, and vlog content on YouTube and Instagram.
However, last year in 2023, a controversy arose when she reported her grandmother for trespassing. Choi Jun-hee claimed she called the police and her boyfriend, stating, "I couldn't bear my grandmother's verbal abuse," and released CCTV footage and video from that time.
However, news of her reporting her grandmother for trespassing sparked accusations of being a bad daughter, and it was eventually resolved when she submitted a letter of non-prosecution to the police.
Nonetheless, when she received the Rising Star Award last December, she expressed her gratitude, saying, "I am most thankful to my aunt for raising me like a mother. She's the biggest support in my life and the reason for my existence," placing her aunt in the center of the discord rumors once again.
