Earlier that day, her agency, Star Made Entertainment, announced that Cha Eun-jung will hold her wedding with a non-celebrity boyfriend on August 31 at a location in Seoul. The groom-to-be is reportedly working in the broadcasting industry.
In addition, Cha Eun-jung stated, "Yesterday, while moving into our newlywed home, I was incredibly overwhelmed. Although it feels like a drama with fifty episodes due to various twists and turns, I'm in the midst of chaotic wedding preparations." She continued, "The start and process have been challenging due to unexpected incidents heaped one after another, but I am experiencing this time, which I will never have again, in a more varied and happy way than anyone else."
Moreover, she expressed her affection for her boyfriend, stating, "Having our marriage at this age feels quite strange, and every day, moment, my thoughts increase even more. Due to my hasty personality and lack of patience, my dear partner has endured a lot, and I sincerely thank you and love you."
Additionally, Cha Eun-jung explained through a video, "We met at this cafe a year ago, and just recently we celebrated our one-year anniversary, and I am set to become a bride in August." She added, "After searching for each other from afar for a long time, we have finally promised to become one."
Meanwhile, Cha Eun-jung debuted in 1999 with Cleo's 'Cleo 1st Album.' After Cleo disbanded, she continued her solo career under the name 'Angel.' She has also formed a girl group in Hong Kong and has been active in various fields as an MC and director.
