The cultural content platform YES24 is undergoing system maintenance for two days due to a system failure, and ENHYPEN has canceled the fan signing event applications.
On the 10th, ENHYPEN's agency Belift Lab announced through the fan communication platform Weverse that it is canceling applications for the 'ENHYPEN 'DESIRE: UNLEASH' activity commemorative fan signing event (YES24).
Belift Lab stated, "Due to the system failure of YES24 that occurred since early June 9, access to the current homepage and consolidation to the customer center is impossible. Due to this system failure, applications for ENHYPEN's 'DESIRE: UNLEASH' release commemorative YES24 offline fan signing event, which was scheduled from 11 a.m. on the 7th to 11:59 p.m. on the 9th, have unfortunately been canceled."
The agency added, "Follow-up measures regarding the cancellation will be announced again through YES24 after the system is restored, so we ask for your understanding," and "We request the fans' generous understanding."
Earlier, YES24's website crashed from the morning of the 9th and is still experiencing issues. YES24 stated, "We are currently conducting system maintenance to provide better service. Service may be temporarily limited during this time, and we ask for your understanding," and added, "Due to the current system failure, access to the homepage, product shipping, and customer center services are unavailable."
YES24 bowed its head, saying, "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused," but as of now, there is no scheduled time for the system maintenance, leaving the exact recovery time unclear.
As a result, the pre-sale schedule for BI's fan meeting, which was planned for the 9th, has been changed, and ENHYPEN has also canceled the fan signing event applications. If recovery does not continue promptly, it is anticipated that there will be impacts on others in the entertainment industry as well, raising concerns.
Meanwhile, YES24 is an internet specialty shopping mall founded in 1999. It is based on an online bookstore and also sells multimedia products such as concert tickets, albums, and DVDs.
