'Omniscient Reader's Perspective' is a fantasy action film where, on the day the novel serialized for over 10 years is completed, the world of the novel becomes reality, and 'Kim Reader,' the only reader, struggles to survive in a doomed world alongside the protagonist 'Yu Jung-hyuk' and friends.
Ahn Hyo-seop, who has captivated Asia with his charming performances and gaze in characters from Netflix series 'Into Your Time,' dramas 'Romantic Doctor Kim Sa-bu 2, 3,' and 'Business Proposal,' is drawing attention as he prepares for a powerful screen debut as 'Kim Reader' in 'Omniscient Reader's Perspective.'
The released still depicts the everyday life of 'Kim Reader,' a temporary employee at a regular game company and the only reader of the novel 'Three Ways to Survive in a Doomed World,' showcasing convincingly how 'Kim Reader' evolves from the ordinary into a stronger character as the novel becomes a reality.
'Reader' feels a moment of regret upon learning that the serialization of the novel, which has continued for over 10 years, has ended during the subway ride home, but soon faces the moment when the world of the novel becomes a reality before his eyes. In this world that has transformed like the novel he was reading, 'Reader' gradually changes, using the only developments he knows to clear various scenarios and survive alongside his companions. The story he cherished for 10 years, which was everything to him, has become reality, and as the only person who knows all the plot developments, 'Reader' is curious about what kind of synergy will arise with the protagonist of the novel he admired, 'Yu Jung-hyuk' (Lee Min-ho), along with 'Yu Sang-ah' (Chae Soo-bin), 'Lee Hyun-sung' (Shin Seung-ho), 'Jung Hee-won' (Nana), 'Lee Ji-hye' (Jisoo), and 'Lee Gil-young' (Kwon Eun-sung), with whom he is sharing his life.
