Jin Seon-kyu portrays 'Gwak Byeong-nam,' a former member of the HID Anti-Terror Unit, who now runs a hardware store and stationery shop while living as the head of the youth association in Changri-dong.
Yoon Kye-sang and Jin Seon-kyu previously teamed up in the national crime action film 'The Outlaws' as an organization boss and member, respectively. In this project, the two are expected to showcase their strong chemistry once again. Additionally, Kim Ji-hyun takes on the role of 'Jeong Nam-yeon,' the owner of 'Mammoth Mart'; Ko Kyu-pil plays 'Lee Yong-hee,' the director of 'Special Martial Arts Yongmu Dojang'; and Lee Jeong-ha has been confirmed to play 'Park Jeong-hwan,' a student at Seoul National University.
'UDT: Our Neighborhood Special Forces' features Ban Gi-ri, who has showcased deep narratives through the 'Missing: They Were Here' series, serving as the creator to build an original worldview. Alongside him are director Jo Woong, known for his sensory direction in works like 'Justice' and 'Quiet Sales,' and screenplay writer Kim Sang-yoon, indicating the birth of a high-quality, delightful action comedy.
With a fresh premise where reserve forces in Korea step up to protect their neighborhood and a cast of characters with diverse backgrounds coming together in a humorous way, 'UDT: Our Neighborhood Special Forces' will be released in the second half of 2025 through Coupang Play, Genie TV, and ENA.
