Singer Ahn Sung-hoon recalled his difficult past.
Ahn Sung-hoon appeared on the KBS1 morning show segment 'Tuesday Guest' with Son Heon-soo on the morning of the 10th. They will form a trio with Kim Min-kyung in the upcoming season 2 of 'The Birth of Workers', set to air at 7:40 p.m. on the 11th, and work as workers for the elderly across the nation.
Ahn Sung-hoon revealed, "I am the youngest worker with glasses. I converse with the elderly and learn job skills from Brother Heon-soo while gradually growing. I haven't had much experience with work, so I relied on my brother, but as soon as we started filming, I got in trouble, and everyone, including my brother, got scolded."
He continued, "When I meet the elderly, they welcome me warmly and treat me kindly, but once we start working, they scold me a lot. Since I have worked many part-time jobs since I was young, I can learn quickly if they teach me. I hope the elderly won't just scold me but will also guide me well," showing his confidence. He passionately sang his hit song "Mom's Flower," bringing deep emotion.
He also confessed that he worked to pay off his parents' debts since high school. Ahn Sung-hoon said, "My father's business didn't go well since middle school, so from high school, I worked various part-time jobs, including distributing flyers for a Chinese restaurant, working at a gas station, a wedding hall, and a convenience store. Then I saw an announcement for a singing contest and sang trot, winning a popularity award. After that, I traveled to various singing contests across the country to win prize money. Eventually, I developed a dream to sing my own songs and decided to pursue a career as a singer."
He continued, "It's a secret, but I failed twice in the national singing competition when I was in high school, and the last time was during my military service when I had my final leave. With the skills I honed in the army, I applied and was fortunate enough to pass and receive the grand prize," confessing the immense effort he made to eventually attain first place in the competition.
Finally, Ahn Sung-hoon remarked, "In this season 2 of 'The Birth of Workers', three hardworking siblings have come together. I ask for a lot of love and attention," imploring everyone.
