CIX member Hyunseok meets global fans as the male lead in a romance.
Hyunseok of CIX will appear in the web drama "The Probability of Meeting Romance on a Trip Season 3.5" (hereafter "Romance Probability Season 3.5") as the male lead Kim Hajun, which will be released on the YouTube channel "Crack Crack" on the 12th.
"Romance Probability Season 3.5" is the only travel romance web drama produced by the content production company Crank Up Media. The entire series surpassed 10 million views on global OTT and received a good response from fans both domestically and internationally. This season 3.5 will depict various emotions of couples, from the excitement of romance to the bitterness of parting, through a love story set in Buyeo, South Chungcheong Province.
The character Kim Hajun played by Hyunseok is a person who carries pain while living in the face of cold reality. The production team of "Romance Probability Season 3.5" noted, "We carefully considered casting an actor who could express deep emotions from the excitement of meeting to the heartbreak of parting," revealing the behind-the-scenes of Hyunseok's casting.
With striking visuals and physique, Hyunseok is establishing himself not only through CIX activities but also as an 'acting idol.' He made his filmography debut in the 2021 web drama "When I Fell for a Bully," playing Kim Daeyoung, and has left a strong impression on global viewers with his vibrant performances as Jinwoo in the EBS 1TV drama "The World You Fell Into" and Borun in the Wavve drama "The Chairman is a 9th Grader."
The "Romance Probability Season 3.5" starring Hyunseok as the main character is set to be broadcast on the "Crack Crack" YouTube channel and overseas OTT platforms with support from the Korea Creative Content Agency.
CIX, which includes Hyunseok, has been actively promoting since early this year with their seventh EP album "THUNDER FEVER," and is currently also appearing in the travel entertainment program "HASHTAG TRAVELOG in TAOYUAN" airing on tvN SHOW and Tving.
