The group NewBeat has successfully completed the 100km expedition mission.
The group NewBeat (Park Min-seok, Hong Min-seong, Jeon Yeo-jeong, Choi Seo-hyun, Kim Tae-yang, Jo Yun-hu, Kim Ri-woo) revealed the final episode of its own content 'NEWBIETRAP' through its official YouTube channel on the afternoon of the 6th.
Before the final expedition that day, leader Park Min-seok declared, "We will take a look at the map and go for it. We will try to make our way through," surprising everyone. The members then continued their march while enjoying the scenery, even calculating the arrival time and distance, showcasing their reliable traits.
NewBeat did not stop walking until late, and upon reaching Jamsil Bridge, they expressed excitement, saying, "It's Seoul." In particular, Kim Tae-yang noted, "I was worried about when we would arrive in Seoul from Gangwon Province, but we made it in the end," adding, "I think it's important to have a mindset of not giving up."
After safely arriving at their agency, NewBeat cried as they read handwritten letters from their parents, along with a surprise gift. The youngest, Kim Ri-woo, said, "I cried thinking about how mom, dad, and the older (members of NewBeat) and the company supported me," while Jeon Yeo-jeong expressed gratitude, saying, "It was a meaningful time."
Not stopping there, NewBeat enjoyed a surprise 'hotel stay' as a finale, relieving their fatigue and pledging for a new leap, bringing a warm conclusion. Particularly, their solid and mature appearance, preparing for another beginning at the end of the challenge, left a deep impression.
In this way, NewBeat illustrated a narrative of growth that exceeds their own limits, proving their authenticity as a debut group. During their 2-night, 3-day journey, they built strong teamwork through supporting and relying on each other. With their chemistry further solidified and their authenticity confirmed, expectations are high for what kind of music NewBeat will surprise the world with next.
NewBeat made its debut in the music scene by releasing their first full album 'RAW AND RAD' in March. Since then, they have continued to be active through the cable channel Mnet's debut show 'Drop the NEWBEAT' and SBS's fan showcase 'Heemsumjin Anatomy.' Recently, they took to major stages like the '2025 Love Some Festival,' 'Seoul Spring Festa Opening Celebration Seoul Wonder Show,' and 'KCON JAPAN 2025,' receiving a warm response from global K-pop fans.
NewBeat plans to continue meeting global K-pop fans through various stages and on-and-offline content.
