Korean reality show 'Odd Park Tour 4' member Kim Jun-ho faces a crisis as the most 'abandoned' participant after recording '5 Abandonments' at the first travel destination of Season 4, Taiwan.
In the second episode aired on July 7 of 'Nidon Naesan Odd Park Tour 4' (Channel S, co-produced by SK Broadband), the group consisting of Kim Dae-hee, Kim Jun-ho, Jang Dong-min, Yoo Se-yoon, and Hong In-kyu traveled from Taipei, Taiwan, to Hualien, enjoying the 'Eight Scenic Spots of Taiwan' on the second day of their trip.
On this day, Hong In-kyu, who woke up at the dormitory accommodation, announced their trip to Hualien, saying, "This is a place highly recommended by the Taiwan Tourism Bureau, and the scenery is said to be spectacular." He then drew the 'abandonment' for the first day's lodging expenses with a 'thigh slapping' game, where Kim Jun-ho came in last and lamented, "I have been 'abandoned' in this accommodation during the 'Abandonment Game' three times," expressing his shock. Kim Jun-ho and the 'abandonment group' headed to Banqiao Station to take the train to Hualien. There, they gathered Taiwanese sandwiches and various snacks, and Kim Jun-ho said, "Let's play the game on time from now on," as they did a 'roulette game' for the snack expenses.
As a result, Hong In-kyu won, and the 'abandonment group', in high spirits, decided on a penalty for the 'most abandoned participant' saying, "Since it's Season 4, how about eating four chopsticks of stinky tofu?" Amidst everyone's fears, the train to Hualien arrived. Yoo Se-yoon, who was 'unabandoned', fell asleep on the train, while the other four secretly created a 'four-person talk room without Yoo Se-yoon' to devise the 'abandonment game'. However, Yoo Se-yoon, known for his perceptiveness, rejected the 'abandonment game' proposed by the four. Regretting this, the 'abandonment group' said, "We memorized for over an hour to play the word chain game," and performed the well-rehearsed game, bringing laughter.
In a lively atmosphere, they went to 'Taroko Gorge', a tourist attraction in Hualien. Kim Dae-hee, amazed by the majestic scenery, said, "This is a place where cabbage and martial arts masters would appear. I'm glad we came." Later, they moved to Qingshui Cliff, mentioning, "There's a place where you write your worries or troubles on a stone and throw it into the sea to get rid of those worries." Located 30 minutes by car, Qingshui Cliff features blue waters of the Pacific Ocean and steep cliffs creating a beautiful landscape, where the 'abandonment group' undertook an ATV experience.
Next, they played an abandonment game with the ATV expenses, and Jang Dong-min, Yoo Se-yoon, and Hong In-kyu suddenly bowed at a nearby shrine, asking, "Please let us not be abandoned," which caused laughter. Hong In-kyu then earnestly pleaded, "Se-yoon has a lot of broadcasts and one child, while I have three children and no broadcasts. Please let me not be abandoned." Yoo Se-yoon, who usually responded cynically to superstitions and shamanism, even kneeled and prayed using Taiwanese phrases, and as a result, Hong In-kyu came in last in the 'fruit dropping' game and became the abandoned participant.
The 'abandonment group', riding ATVs, shouted, "Let's go! 'Odd Park Tour'~" as they rode excitedly. Yoo Se-yoon, captivated by the breathtaking scenery created by cliffs and the sea, exclaimed, "This is truly art." After finishing the thrilling ATV experience, the 'abandonment group' moved to the coast to perform a 'wish-making' by writing worries and troubles on stones and throwing them into the sea. Here, Jang Dong-min wrote, "Please take away my family's illnesses," while Yoo Se-yoon wrote, "Please let there be no bad people around us." Kim Jun-ho, the 'bridegroom of July,' shouted, "I want to throw away my belly fat and the unnecessary pride I had towards (Kim) Ji-min," while Hong In-kyu expressed a romantic wish, saying, "I'll work hard to pay off our loans. I will make you happy, my love."
Feeling refreshed after casting away their worries into the sea, the 'abandonment group' later headed to a renowned local health food restaurant famous for its 'golden clam soup'. Following this, they played an abandonment game for the meal expenses, where Hong In-kyu came in last, resulting in 4 abandonments. Shortly after, a generous spread of grilled mackerel and stir-fried clams was served, and while the group enjoyed their meal, Jang Dong-min mentioned, "Recently, a fan of our 'Odd Park Tour' compiled and sent us the total accumulated abandonments from Season 3 in New Zealand," announcing that Kim Jun-ho was in the top spot.
Following him were Hong In-kyu, Yoo Se-yoon, Jang Dong-min, and Kim Dae-hee in that order. The 'abandonment group' agreed, saying, "Let's do something for the first person to reach 100 abandonments!" As keen interest arose in who would be the first member to achieve 100 abandonments, the 'abandonment group' also engaged in a night market tour located in eastern Hualien. Here, the 'abandonment group' decided to try the 'catching the bag game' again, which had previously humiliated Yoo Se-yoon.
Yoo Se-yoon declared, "I will definitely avenge myself this time," and the 'abandonment group' carefully entered the game, where Kim Jun-ho, who was feeling confident, ended up in last place. Suddenly, Kim Jun-ho suggested to Yoo Se-yoon, "Let's bet one of your abandonments and have a rematch in the 'catching the bag game.'" Accepting Kim Jun-ho's challenge of 'let's go double or nothing,' Yoo Se-yoon performed well in the rematch, and Kim Jun-ho quickly ended up with 5 abandonments. Amidst Kim Jun-ho's tearful reaction of "I feel like crying," everyone burst into laughter, raising more anticipation about who would fulfill the penalty of eating four chopsticks of stinky tofu as the 'most abandoned participant' of Season 4.
