Actress Lee Chae-young announced her formal return after a year of hiatus.
On the 7th, Lee Chae-young shared a post on her personal account stating, "The adventure of the past year was really good. It was truly a necessary time," along with photos that captured the year.
In the released photos, Lee Chae-young is seen relaxing while traveling to various countries. Her natural appearance evokes a sense of comfort.
Lee Chae-young conveyed her feelings about her return, saying, "I was touched by your support and that you said you wanted to see me again. Thank you. There were times when I missed many good opportunities because I wasn't perfect, and I felt very upset, but I will start again from the beginning, focusing on each little thing that I can do, working hard on the tasks given to me, so that I can be loved."
She added, "Thank you so much for your understanding and for all the kind words you sent. I hope everyone has a good night."
Earlier in February, Lee Chae-young explained, "I overworked myself in 2023, leading to minor issues with my body and mind. Last year, I stepped down from the program (Running Women) and took my personal time."
Additionally, she advised, "The most important things in life are health and happiness, so please understand a little, as I cherish my life and strive hard. This is the answer I found, and it might be incorrect. No, it's not wrong; it's just different. Above all, stay healthy, especially take care of your mental health."
Meanwhile, Lee Chae-young debuted in 2007 with the drama "Witch's Romance" and appeared in projects such as "Searching for My Son," "My Wife is Back," "Cuckoo's Nest," "Secretly Greatly," "The Maids," "Secret Man," and "Family." She stepped down from SBS's entertainment show "Running Women" earlier this year.
