The band QWER has become stronger in the rain.
QWER (Chodan, Magenta, Hina, Siyon) posted the second music video teaser for the title track 'Holding Back Tears' from their third mini album 'I'm on your side, even if the whole world is dissonant' on their official YouTube channel today (8th).
The released video begins with raindrops falling on a drum, gradually showcasing QWER's band performance in the increasingly heavy rain. Despite their clothes getting soaked by the rain, the four members continue to play energetically, reflecting their strengthened teamwork.
In particular, the melody and lyrics of 'Holding Back Tears' were revealed for the first time. "I'm left here in the rain / I don't want to cry alone," and "Please tell me / How to hold back tears"—the poetic lyrics layered over QWER's unique lively yet refreshing band sound leave a deep impression.
'Holding Back Tears' is a song about gathering one's heart and taking a step forward for a hopeful tomorrow despite the sadness that makes you unable to hold back tears. All members participated in the songwriting, infusing sincere messages, suggesting it will resonate with anyone who can relate it to their own story.
The third mini album 'I'm on your side, even if the whole world is dissonant' is a collection of stories that emerged from QWER's debut album 'Harmony from Discord'. This album completes the first page of QWER's narrative of growth, proving their enhanced musical ability with all four members credited on all tracks.
QWER's third mini album 'I'm on your side, even if the whole world is dissonant' will be released on the 9th at 6 p.m. through various music streaming sites.
