J-Hope and Jin of BTS are reaching the peak of their activities for the first half of 2025 in their respective ways. J-Hope is proving an expanded musical spectrum with a solo single project filled with various charms, while Jin is solidifying his identity as a solo artist with a high-quality album and a clearer musical color.
J-Hope will announce the digital single 'Killin' It Girl (feat. GloRilla)' on the 13th. The hip-hop genre song honestly and intensely expresses the excitement of falling in love at a glance and is the final track of his solo single project that has continued since March.
Earlier, J-Hope showcased contrasting charms through 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)' and 'MONA LISA.' While 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)' sweetly expressed the desire to love and be loved, the second song displayed his worth as a 'world-class' performer with a hip vibe and chill dance. Both tracks achieved global popularity, reaching 66th and 65th on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Main Song Chart, respectively.
'Killin' It Girl (feat. GloRilla)' is a track that completes the emotional line that J-Hope has built up and showcases another side of him, drawing attention. The previously released concept photo attracted attention with its sexy vibe. Collaboration with the American rapper GloRilla is also a point of expectation.
The stage for the new song will be unveiled for the first time at the 'J-Hope Tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' FINAL' held on the 13th and 14th at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in Goyang City. This final performance and encore show of J-Hope's first solo world tour, which took place over 31 performances in 15 cities worldwide, is expected to elicit an even hotter response.
The stage heat will be taken over by Jin. Jin will embark on his first solo fan concert tour '#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR' starting in Goyang, Korea, on the 28th and 29th. He is scheduled to perform a total of 18 shows in 9 cities, including Chiba and Osaka in Japan, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark in the U.S., London in the U.K., and Amsterdam in the Netherlands, connecting closely with global fans.
Jin solidified his position as a solo artist with the mini album 'Echo,' released in May. 'Echo' entered the U.S. Billboard 200 Main Album Chart at its highest ranking of 3rd and charted for two consecutive weeks. It also debuted in the U.K.'s Official Album Top 100 at 63rd place, creating a notable impact.
Jin included 7 songs based on the band sound that he has consistently pursued in 'Echo.' It encompasses a wide range of genres, including pop punk, country rock, Brit rock, J-rock, alternative rock, and ballad pop. With his clear voice and delicate emotional line, he has received praise for completing 'Jin's rock.'
