'The Seoul Music Awards' has finalized its MC lineup.
The '34th Seoul Music Awards' (hosted by Sports Seoul, organized by the Seoul Music Awards organizing committee, hereinafter referred to as 'Seoul Music Awards') announced on the 5th, "Following (G)I-DLE's Miyeon, WINNER's Kang Seungyoon and TOMORROW X TOGETHER's Soobin will join as the main MCs for the ceremony."
Kang Seungyoon is the leader of WINNER and a multi-talented entertainer who is active as a main vocalist, producer, and actor. He has proven his skills by writing and composing WINNER's hit songs 'REALLY REALLY', 'EVERYDAY', and 'MILLIONS'.
Additionally, he has served as a special MC on MBC's 'Show! Music Core', SBS's 'My Little Old Boy', and SBS Power FM's 'Cultwo Show'. He has also showcased outstanding hosting skills as a fixed MC for E Channel and MBN's 'After School Korea: School Trip', and is expected to naturally interact with the audience and elevate the atmosphere at the 'Seoul Music Awards'.
Soobin is the leader of TOMORROW X TOGETHER, an artist who captures the hearts of global fans with his exceptional live skills and performances. He took on the MC role for KBS2's 'Music Bank' about a year after his debut, and demonstrated steady hosting as the first solo variety MC for the YouTube channel PIXID's 'The Best of The Best'.
Earlier, (G)I-DLE's Miyeon was confirmed as an MC. There is public interest in what kind of chemistry 'multi-talented entertainer' Kang Seungyoon and 'all-rounder' Soobin will show with Miyeon.
'The Seoul Music Awards' is a ceremony featuring a glamorous lineup of a total of 18 teams (members), including BTOB, Say My Name, (G)I-DLE, ILLIT, NCT Do Young, NCT Wish, Young Tak, Wave to Earth, ZEROBASEONE, CRAVITY, KIKY, KickFlip, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, P1Harmony, Fifty Fifty, HAATZ, Hearts2Hearts, Hwang Garam, and QWER (in alphabetical order).
Additionally, there will be a special stage by BIBUP, who won the newly established 'Rising Star' category this year. Global fans are eagerly anticipating the performance by BIBUP, who has been selected as a promising artist to lead the future of K-POP.
Along with this, glamorous actors such as Kang Yoo Seok, Kim Sung Cheol, Nam Gyu Ri, Park Joo Hyun, Byeon Wooseok, Shin Si A, Ong Seong Wu, Jang Kyu Ri, Jang Ryu, and Jeong Eun Chae are expected to participate as presenters to light up the event.
Meanwhile, 'The Seoul Music Awards' is the most prestigious and traditional awards ceremony in the country, having started in 1990. This year marks a particularly special significance as it coincides with the 40th anniversary of Sports Seoul.
