Korean-Canadian singer JK Kim Dong-wook continues to send critical messages towards the government of Lee Jae-myung.
On the 5th, JK Kim Dong-wook wrote on his social media, "Give Trump a call. The national dignity is declining, and the public is in an uproar," and added, "If you don't have time, let the kids light a beacon or something."
JK Kim Dong-wook is known to be a Korean-Canadian with Canadian citizenship. He has recently been one of the prominent 'right-wing' entertainers who have been expressing political beliefs through social media.
Earlier, in December of last year, after the impeachment motion against President Yoon Seok-youl was passed in the state of emergency, he consistently expressed opposition to impeachment and arrest. In particular, he mocked citizens urging for the impeachment and arrest of President Yoon Seok-youl by calling them 'pro-North Korea forces.'
He later stated, "Whenever videos claiming that the year 2060 will be the time of Korea's collapse appeared, I thought, 'No way, not that soon?' but before that, I had my own wishful thinking that changes would happen. Now, my thoughts have changed. I believe it could collapse even faster than the world expects."
In addition, ahead of this election, he publicly supported Kim Moon-soo, the People Power Party candidate, and on the 3rd, after the election results were confirmed, he expressed disappointment by saying, "In the end, the results are that we ended up including songs that shouldn't be included," and added, "Now is the time to sing about the world we should not have to experience rather than love songs."
