The WM Entertainment rookie girl group USPEER has expressed their feelings about their debut.
USPEER (Yeowon, Soi, Sian, Seoyu, Daon, Chaina, Roa) held a showcase for the release of their first single album 'SPEED ZONE' on the 4th at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
USPEER is a girl group introduced by WM Entertainment, which discovered B1A4, Oh My Girl, ONF, and Lee Chae Yeon, about 10 years after Oh My Girl. The team name USPEER is a combination of 'US' and 'SPEER,' meaning, "We will understand the essence of the world we share and create a better future."
USPEER consists of seven members with various charms, including the leader Yeowon, passionate rapper Soi, versatile hexagonal member Sian, lovely-smiling Seoyu, clear-voiced Daon, bubbly Chaina, and emotional vocal youngest Roa.
"The golden retriever that resembles a cat" Soi, "pure and bright" Chaina, "positive girl" Daon, "hexagonal member" Sian, "energetic dancer" Seoyu, "emotional vocal youngest" Roa, and "charismatic leader" Yeowon are all Korean members, just like their label seniors, Oh My Girl, who debuted 10 years ago.
USPEER presented their first stage with 'ZOOM.' Yeowon said, "Rather than feeling pressured, we have been practicing thinking that if we work hard enough, people will love and support our music."
Sian shared, "Oh My Girl's Yubin sunbaenim always came to the practice room and detailed many aspects of vocal and dance. We also had a dinner with grilled pork belly, and I would like to repay with beef."
Yeowon stated, "Last year, I participated as a dancer in B1A4's stage, and I learned a lot during the comeback showcase and music show activities, receiving advice. Thank you for your encouragement."
USPEER's first single album 'SPEED ZONE' will be released on various music streaming sites at 6 p.m. on the same day.
