The stars of the movie 'High Five' expressed their desire for season 2.
On the afternoon of the 3rd, actors Lee Jae-In, Ahn Jae-Hong, Ra Mi-Ran, Kim Hee-Won, and Park Jin-Young, who starred in the movie 'High Five', appeared on MBC FM4U radio's 'Midday Hope Song with Kim Shin-Young' (hereafter referred to as 'Hope').
That day, the first song played was 'Oruja' by second aunt Kim Da-Bi. Second aunt Kim Da-Bi is the alter ego of DJ Kim Shin-Young.
Kim Shin-Young noted, "Today is the 21st presidential election voting day, and the perfect song has come on. I hope the voter turnout increases," and encouraged the audience to exercise their precious rights by stating, "Nothing is scarier than voting compared to guns and knives."
A listener said, "Cindy, I also cast my vote this morning and went to work. I wish for a world where everyone is happy," to which Kim Shin-Young replied, "I hope everyone has leisure time. When there is leisure, comedy is very much appreciated. I hope that leisure time increases and that comedy content also grows. I miss the times when we could laugh freely without being overly critical."
As the members of 'High Five' appeared, Kim Shin-Young congratulated them on being number one at the box office. She personally asked, "I wonder which is more nerve-racking, before the screening or after the screening?" Park Jin-Young replied, "It's more nerve-racking before the screening. But it feels really good to see the audience afterwards."
Ahn Jae-Hong remarked, "When we enter for the finale screening, the expressions are different, and the excitement is different," while Lee Jae-In noted, "When we enter at the start, they don't recognize me, but when we enter after the end, they cheer 'Wow.'"
Ahn Jae-Hong boasted, "I heard just a moment ago that the screening venue for the finale is completely sold out," and Ra Mi-Ran expressed her joy by saying, "It seems everyone has come to the theater after taking care of their matters." Kim Shin-Young cheered, "It surpassed 'Mission: Impossible 8' to rank first at the box office. Korean movies need to thrive more."
A listener sent a message saying, "I watched the movie 'High Five' over the weekend, and Ahn Jae-Hong's chicken bone de-boning show was impressive." Ahn Jae-Hong responded, "The chicken bone de-boning show is not CGI. It's just a scene where I hold the wing bone in my mouth while pretending to eat, and only the bone is visible. It was okay to shoot in one take without any NG."
Kim Shin-Young expressed surprise by saying, "Ra Mi-Ran lost 17 kg," and Ra Mi-Ran clarified, "Actually, I lost 14 kg. But Kim Shin-Young is the pioneer of dieting." Kim Shin-Young explained, "I have '08 Shin-Young' and '12 Shin-Young.' I've lost a total of 43 kg. Losing weight when you're plump is easier, but it gets harder when you're a bit chubby." To this, Ra Mi-Ran replied, "The last few kilos were the hardest to lose. I went through a long period of stagnation, which was a tough phase."
Park Jin-Young commented, "You are amazing, senior. I heard you initially lose weight quickly, but you lost it slowly over a long period," while Ra Mi-Ran shared, "I lost weight over about a year, but I did it while eating. I had to change the types of food I eat and consume healthier food. I rarely drink alcohol."
Diet expert Kim Shin-Young stated, "There are ways to lose weight while drinking alcohol; I will share them next time," and Ra Mi-Ran joked, "I don't really like drinking that much," eliciting laughter.
Lee Jae-In and Kim Hee-Won are said to be 'game mates' who enjoy gaming together. Lee Jae-In mentioned, "I am always online when I log into a game. I stay updated on senior Kim Hee-Won's recent activities through game messenger," and Kim Hee-Won chuckled, "We mainly meet while playing League of Legends."
Among the highlights of 'High Five' are the stunning action scenes. In response to the comment, "The action scenes are phenomenal," Lee Jae-In explained, "We had to perform a lot of stunts and even flew around on wires. We also worked on combining those with CGI following the choreography." Park Jin-Young added, "There are also actual scenes where the actors performed in slow motion without CGI."
Another listener commented, "I watched 'High Five,' and it was so entertaining that I am spreading the word around. Are there any plans for season 2? I really wanted a Korean-style hero story."
Kim Shin-Young stated, "I will personally watch it this weekend and leave a proof shot," and asked, "There are already some viewers thinking about season 2?" Ra Mi-Ran responded, "It needs to do well for us to go to season 2. Please support us vigorously," and Ahn Jae-Hong cutely added, "Please push us along."
In the meantime, 'High Five' is a comic action film depicting the story of five individuals who randomly gain superpowers due to organ transplants and encounter those who seek to exploit their abilities. It has maintained the number one position at the box office since its release.
