ASTK member JinJin (real name Park Jin-woo) has received a military exemption due to an autoimmune disease.
On the 3rd, the agency Fantagio announced through the official fan cafe, "We provide guidance regarding ASTK JinJin's military service."
On that day, Fantagio stated, "JinJin has been deemed unable to serve in the military based on the results of a detailed physical examination by the Military Manpower Administration due to health issues related to his autoimmune disease," adding that "he has no issues with daily life, but he requires periodic hospital visits for examinations and management, and therefore, based on the medical judgment that being in a special group environment like military service would be difficult, he has received military exemption."
Furthermore, it stated, "We prioritize the health of our artists above all and plan to continue activities," and expressed deep gratitude to the fans who always send their support, asking for their continued interest in JinJin's activities.
Meanwhile, ASTK member MJ completed his military service and was discharged in November 2023, while Cha Eun-woo is preparing to enlist in the Army Band on July 28.
