Actor Lee Gi-young revealed that he lost 12 kg while campaigning for the presidential election.
On the afternoon of the 3rd, Lee Gi-young disclosed the reason for his recent rapid weight loss during the live broadcast of "MaeBulShow."
Lee Gi-young said that he has been traveling across the country, including the Seoul-Gyeonggi metropolitan area, campaigning for the 21st presidential election, and asked, "Don't you think I've lost a lot more weight since the last time I appeared?"
Host Choi Wook also agreed that it seemed Lee had lost weight, and Lee said, "I've lost 7 kg more than the last time I appeared on 'MaeBulShow.' I lost a total of 12 kg during the presidential election period," and added with a laugh, "So, these days I joke that if you want to do a quick diet, you should go campaign during the election."
Meanwhile, Lee Gi-young garnered attention for publicly supporting Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, and also gave a speech on MBC radio.
