The curated performance 'MEETING ROOM' hosted by Magic Strawberry Sound and the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify, has successfully concluded its first event.
Magic Strawberry Sound held the curated performance 'MEETING ROOM 001' on the 31st of last month at the Seobomi Art Cultural Space in Mapo District, Seoul.
'MEETING ROOM' is a performance series where various local and international artists and audiences gather like in a meeting room to share ideas and create new stories together. The sold-out first performance, which marked the start of the series, demonstrated the heated interest and anticipation from music fans for the main performance.
The first performance of 'MEETING ROOM' featured musicians Samyu and Jiyunha, who are actively participating in the domestic independent music scene, and the rising Tokyo-based band Enfants, captivating the audience with the diverse charms of the three groups. Each group provided a profound musical experience with distinct and unique performances.
First, Samyu, who shares his story through various musical forms such as rock, pop, and ballad, created an explosive immersion with a rich sound of a full band. Jiyunha expressed the emotions felt in daily life or in relationships with a continuously changing rhythm of guitar and keyboard. The Japanese rock band Enfants received enthusiastic responses by performing representative songs released to date, starting with their second single 'Dying Star,' which was released in January this year.
In particular, with the support of Spotify, an official playlist featuring the best songs of the participating artists from 'MEETING ROOM' was released after the performance, and an interview video will also be uploaded through the Spotify podcast. Additionally, a Spotify advertisement video was broadcasted on the LED screens within the venue.
Meanwhile, the curated performance 'MEETING ROOM' hosted by Magic Strawberry Sound and Spotify will be conducted regularly, starting with the first performance '001.'
